Drink Driving and Drug Driving in Australia.
A Police Operation in Queensland, conducted between 14th February and 19th February 2019, coinciding with a local festival, resulted in over 1,800 breath tests.
The results included:
3 drivers were charged with drink driving.
28 drivers were charged with driving whilst under the influence of drugs.
70 people were charged with 149 other drug related offences.
8 drivers were charged with driving unlicensed.
6 drivers were charged with driving unregistered vehicles.
