$38,000 to fly London to Australia?

The cost of London to Australia flights hit $38,000, after airlines were told that they have to bring fewer people to Australia.

Well, that is the headline making people nervous. However, that is not an average flight seat.

For that price,  you get an apartment in the air for two people, including a living room, a bedroom and a shower. And a full sized TV.

Etihad has a new A380 airplane, “The Residence”, and the price quoted gives a full suite in the air with a bedroom, a living room and a shower. The base cost covers either one or two people.
