Student Visa Fee Rebate..
There are currently around 150,000 overseas students who have Australian visa, but are not in Australia at the moment, 19 January 2022.
If they return to Australia between now and eight weeks time, their visa fee will be re-payed back to them.
The Australian Prime Minister said: “We will be rebating the visa application fees from all those who arrive today and going forward for students over the next eight weeks and that is a fee of some $630.”
“We have relaxed the 20-hour rule when it comes to student visas and that they can be working more than 20 hours.”
This is aimed to get these students back to Australia for the start of their university or college year.
