The Stages of a Visa Application

What are the stages of a visa application?

Many people wonder about the application stages of a visa,  and when a case officer is assigned.

Some visa offices might assign each application to just one case officer, while other applications might be dealt with by different case officers at different times.

These are the official stages, with an idea of what they probably mean in most cases.
