Police Checks in Maiden and Married Name

Just wanting to quickly check something re my (sponsor) police clearance certificates for South Africa and Australia.

We got married last year but I never changed my surname to my married surname, so all my official docs, i.e. drivers, ID, bank account, Super etc are all still in my maiden surname, not my married surname…

Can I just apply for police clearances in my maiden surname since that is the only name that I am known by in both South Africa and Australia (Iv never been back to Aus since my marriage, so have not changed it in Aus.) or do I have to do it in my married surname as well here in South Africa?
