UK Covid-19 Vaccine deaths.
There have been 417 reported cases of thrombotic thrombocytopenia blood clots, causing 72 deaths in the UK.
This is after 24.8 million first doses and 23.9 million second doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine in the UK.
This works out at 2.9 deaths per million first doses.
These thrombotic thrombocytopenia clots are considered extremely rare, and the UK Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency’s chief safety officer, Dr Alison Cave, has said: “The benefits of the Covid-19 vaccine AstraZeneca continue to outweigh the risks for most people.”
