  2. There are 9 new local Delta variants of Covid-19 recorded on the 31st July in Queensland.
    These are all linked to the schools and school activities involved in yesterdays cases.

    These cases are stated to be all linked to an overseas arrival who was released from quarantine hospital on the 17th July in the Sunshine Coast.

  3. There are 6 local new Delta variants of Covid-19 recorded on 30th July in Queensland. One of these was a medical student.
    These are linked to the Schoolgirl case recorded on the previous day.

    These cases are linked to an overseas arrival that went from Hotel Quarantine to a Covid hospital.

    Most of SE Queensland is going into a 3 day lockdown from 4pm today, Saturday 31 July 2021. This ends at 4pm on Tuesday 3rd August 2021.

  4. Queensland COVID-19 concerns after Flight Attendant tested positive on 22 July 2021.

    The Flight attendant had her first symptoms on 13 July, but did not go for testing until 21 July. That was 9 days after her first symptoms.

    She collected a male friend at Ballina airport on 14 July. He was tested in NSW on 12 July, and was supposed to be isolating for 14 days.

    It is now understood that the flight attendant was infected by the male that she collected from Ballina. His positive result, from NSW, was released late.

    There were no new local or overseas arrival cases in Queensland, on Friday 23 July 2021.

  6. Thursday 22 July 2021

    3 new cases (1 local, 2 overseas acquired)
    25 currently active cases
    22 in hospital
    1 in ICU

    1,763 total cases since the pandemic began. 7 of these have died.

  7. There were no new local or overseas arrival cases in Queensland, on Wednesday 21st July 2021.

    Queensland is closing the Border to all of NSW at 1am Friday 23rd July. This is to try to ensure minimum COVID-19 transmission from NSW.

    Previous case information..

    19th July 2021. A Queensland resident returned from Melbourne on the 13th and tested positive to COVID in Queensland on the 18th. She has had both Pfizer vaccinations.
    She was wearing a mask, so the risk of her spreading the virus is low.

    2 new cases. 0 new locally acquired and 2 overseas arrivals.

    QLD COVID-19 cases in the 24 hours to 8pm, Saturday 17 July 2021.

    1 new cases. 0 new locally acquired and 1 overseas arrivals.

    QLD COVID-19 cases in the 24 hours to 8pm, Friday 16 July 2021.

    1 new cases. 0 new locally acquired and 1 overseas arrivals.

    QLD COVID-19 Cases in the 24 hours to 8pm, Thursday 15 July 2021.

    1 new case. 1 new locally acquired and 0 overseas arrivals.

    This new case is the third person in the family of three that came up from Hotel Quarantine in Sydney. The family consists of a 12 yr old and both parents.

    QLD COVID-19 Cases in the 24 hours to 8pm, Wednesday 14 July 2021.

    5 new Cases. 3 new locally acquired and 2 overseas arrivals.

    2 of the 3 new locally acquired cases arrived at Brisbane Domestic airport from Sydney. They arrived from the USA, and spent 14 days in quarantine in Sydney. They may have become infected while in Sydney.

    1 of the 3 new locally acquired cases is a worker at Brisbane International airport.
