From 1am AEST Sunday 2 January 2022 face masks will be required in all indoor settings except for in the home, and where it’s unsafe.
Indoor face mask requirements will include:
- patrons in all hospitality venues including pubs, clubs and cafes (except when seated)
- staff and students at schools, childcare and other education facilities
These changes will be in effect across Queensland.
