ADF to employ Foreign Citizens.
The Australian Defence Force recruitment has been opened up to some foreign citizens.
Australian permanent residents from New Zealand, UK, US and Canada (members of the so-called Five Eyes intelligence sharing network) are now eligible to apply to join the Australian Defence Forces (ADF).
The Five Eyes (FVEY) is an intelligence alliance comprising Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
These countries are quickly able to share security information with Australia, for any ADF application from one of their own citizens.
The majority are also natural English speakers.
