Are you eligible for Free Rapid Antigen Tests.
The Australian government, through the National Cabinet, has agreed to supply a number of Rapid Antigen Test Kits, FREE OF CHARGE, to holders of various concession cards.
The holders of the following concession cards are those eligible to receive up to 10 free Kits, during a 3 month period.
- Pension Concession Card.
- Commonwealth Seniors Health Care Card.
- Department of Veterans’ Affairs Gold, White or Orange Card.
- Health Care Card.
- Low Income Health Card.
Each card holder will be able to get a maximum of five tests per month.
These Free Test Kits may not be available until late January or early February. My local chemist indicated today, (10 Jan 2022), that it would be early February.
Before the free Kits become available, the Rapid antigen tests can be purchased at many pharmacies, supermarkets, and other retail outlets, subject to stock availability.
