Partner Visa Fee Changes 2004 to 2022.
The cost of an Australian Partner visa normally changes every July, but by different amount each year.
These rises have varied from 0.5% up to 5.4% each year between 2017 and 2022.
Looking back over 17 years, the annual increases have averaged 8.32% and 10.64%.
This higher annual increase was caused by the unusual 2015 increase of 55.5% for the onshore 820, and 122.5% for the offshore 309.

For comparison purposes against other Australian changes in the similar period, we have the following.
I bought a house in 2002, for $385,000 and in 2020 it was worth $735,000, after spending about $50,000 on improvements.
This gave a rise of $300,000 on a cost of $435,000. A total rise of 69% but averaged at 3.04% per year.
