The Queensland Police Service announced the road safety week in the Central Region as part of its ongoing efforts to help reduce the road toll.

The week which will conclude Sunday March 23, 2014 has been developed through an innovative and shared responsibility approach to road safety with the main theme being ??Road Safety is your future.’

The Central Region recorded 95 fatalities in 2013 and while this represents a reduction on the previous year it is still the highest toll for any Police region in Queensland.
