World Password Day.
The World Password Day is the first Thursday in May each year.
In 2021 it is the 6th of May.
Intel Security created world password day in 2013.
It is intended to try to get everyone to change their passwords at least once each year.
Some people prefer not to change passwords as they have too many, and it gets confusing.
One report last year stated “70% of consumers have at least 10 password-protected online accounts, and 30% have “too many to count.”
I think I am in that last group.
I know one person that uses only one password for everything, her birthday. Not the ideal approach to security…
But then again trying to remember 100 different passwords isn’t easy either.
