2021-2022 Nominated Visa Allocations

Under the Australian Migration Program settings, nomination allocations are made available to States and Territories in the following visa categories:

  • Skilled – Nominated (subclass 190). This visa lets nominated skilled workers live and work in Australia as permanent residents.
  • Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) (subclass 491). This is a temporary visa for skilled workers who want to live and work in regional Australia.
  • Business Innovation and Investment Program (BIIP -subclass 188). This is a provisional visa for people with business skills, to operate a new or existing business in Australia. It gives a pathway to the subclass 888 Business Innovation and Investment (Permanent) visa.

States and Territories each assess eligible applicants against criteria unique to their jurisdiction.
