How often do you come across Snakes in Australia?.
From my experience, it is not very common to come across snakes in Australia.
I an one of the minority that lives outside the cities. With farming areas around me, and about a one hour drive from Brisbane City, in off peak traffic.
I’ve not seen a snake in the 4 years I have been here. I know that some people have, as I have read the reports in the local newspapers, but I haven’t seen one personally.
Actually it is 20 years since I saw a snake, and that was in NSW, somewhere remote. I hate snakes, they scare me. I was bitten by one, in the UK as a child, and that memory lingers.
