Prospective Marriage Visa (subclass 300) Refusals in the years 2018-19 and 2019-20.

There are many reasons for a visa application to be refused, and they can be discussed in other posts. This post is to show the numbers of refusals over the 24 months from July 2018 to June 2020.

In 2018-19, the refusal rate for the Subclass 300 visa was 16.78%
This was 638 refusals from the 3,802 visas finalised.

In 2019-20, the refusal rate was 21.20%
This was 586 refusals from the 2,764 visas finalised.
