Blood Clots in Australia after COVID vaccination.
By 2nd May 2021 there had been a total of 11 Australian reports of probable thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome (TTS), from approximately 1.4 million doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine administered.
This works out at 7.85 reported TTS blood clots per million vaccinations.
Some news reports mention 2 deaths from the vaccine, which, if correct, would be 1.4 deaths per million vaccinations.
For comparison:
The UK has reported 32 deaths from clots after 21.2 million AstraZeneva jabs as at 14 April 2021. That works out at 1.5 deaths per million vaccinations.
There have been 910 COVID-19 deaths in Australia. That is about 35 deaths per million population.
