- 10% took over 15 months.
From Date of approval to ceremony.
- 25% took under 3 months.
- 25% between 3 months and 4 months.
- 25% between 4 months and 6 months.
- 15% between 6 months and 9 months.
- 10% took over 9 months.
From Date of application to ceremony.
- 25% took under 10 months.
- 25% between 10 months and 14 months.
- 25% between 14 months and 19 months.
- 15% between 19 months and 22 months.
- 10% took over 22 months.
These times do NOT include those applications that are still in progress, and some of those might take longer than the longest times shown above.
- 12,139 citizenship by conferral applications were received during the month of Sep 2022.

There were 3,091 citizenship by descent applications on hand at the end of Sep 2022, compared to 3,332 at the end of Aug 2022.
