Average Adult Full Time Wages in Australia in May 2019.

The Australian Bureau of Statistics, Average Weekly Earnings survey, shows the Full-time adult average total earnings in May 2019 at $1,697.10 per week.

This is $88,249.20 per year, an increase of 2.69% in the last 12 months.

This ABS May 2019 report shows the Average Full Time Wages for Male and Female as:

Male Average Wage May 2019.

Male Full-time adult average total earnings $1,814.40 per week, or $94,348.80 annual.

This is an increase of 2.37% in the last 12 months.

Female Average Wage May 2019.

Female Full-time adult average total earnings $1,507.50  per week, or $78,390.00 annual.

This is an increase of 3.72% in the last 12 months.

This is the 5th consecutive year that the Female wage has risen faster the the Male wage.

  • May-2013:  Male incomes rose by: 4.46%. Females by: 4.98%
  • May-2014: Males incomes rose by: 2.80%. Females by: 1.93%
  • May-2015: Malesincomes rose by: 1.61% . Females by: 2.56%
  • May-2016: Males incomes rose by: 1.17% . Females by: 3.29%
  • May-2017: Males incomes rose by: 1.84% . Females by: 2.60%
  • May-2018: Males incomes rose by: 2.55% . Females by: 3.36%
  • May-2019: Males incomes rose by: 2.37% . Females by: 3.72%
