Covid-19 Transmission Risk at Melbourne Demonstration.
One of the anti-vaccine demonstrators in Melbourne on Wednesday 22nd September 2021, is now in hospital with Covid-19.
The stay at home orders that the demonstrators broke was in place to avoid transmission of the virus.
All demonstrators are being advised to get tested.
As many of the demonstrators were not wearing masks there is a greater chance of multiple infections that could cause lockdowns to be extended. This risk could be amplified if these demonstrators refuse to get tested.
During the demonstration two police officers were injured and 215 people were arrested.
