Understanding the Visa Processing Timelines.

A lot of people read the Official Timelines wrong.

The official words are:

309 – Provisional visa: 75 per cent of applications processed 21 months and 90 per cent of applications processed in 26 months. Last updated 18 July 2018 (for month ending 30 June 2018)

That does not mean they take 21 to 26 months.

It does mean that 15% (15 out of every 100 took between 21 and 26 months.)
It also means that 10% (10 out of every 100 took over 26 months.)
But… it also means that 75% took between 1 months and 21 months. (75 out of every 100 took under 21 months)
