Subclass 186 Transition Pathway.
These are the processing times for subclass 186 transition pathway visas finalised in each of these months.
- Mar 2022: 75% up to 16 months and 10% over 25 months. (median: 9 months)
- Feb 2022: 75% up to 15 months and 10% over 18 months. (median: 7 months)
- Jan 2022: 75% up to 11 months and 10% over 20 months. (median: 6 months)
- Dec 2021: 75% up to 12 months and 10% over 21 months.
- Nov 2021: 75% up to 9 months and 10% over 16 months.
- Oct 2021: 75% up to tba months and 10% over tba months.
- Sep 2021: 75% up to tba months and 10% over tba months.
- Aug 2021: 75% up to 17 months and 10% over 21 months.
- Jul 2021: 75% up to 11 months and 10% over 16 months.
- Jun 2021: 75% up to 14 months and 10% over 18 months.
- May 2021: 75% up to 14 months and 10% over 18 months.
- Apr 2021: 75% up to 14 months and 10% over 17 months.
- Mar 2021: 75% up to 13 months and 10% over 17 months.
- Feb 2021: 75% up to 6 months and 10% over 12 months.
- Jan 2021: 75% up to 5 months and 10% over 12 months.
Until the end of 2021 the official processing times were commonly shown in the following format.
16-25
This relates to 75% of that visa group being finalised (Granted or Refused) in the first figure, and 10% taking over the second figure.
EG: 16-25 means that 75% of visas finalised in that month took anywhere up to 16 months and 10% took over 25 months. 15% took between 16 and 25 months.
Figures are now being shown for the 25%, 50%, 75% and 90% times.
These can now show times that would originally have been shown as 16-25, in this new way:
Median average processing time for Subclass 186 Transition Pathway visas, that were finalised in March 2022, was 9 months.
- 25% took under 5 months.
- 25% took between 5 months and 9 months (ie: 50% took under 9 months).
- 25% took between 9 months and 16 months (ie: 75% took under 16 months).
- 15% took between 16 months and 25 months (ie: 90% took under 25 months).
- 10% took over 25 months.
