The Australian Age Pension is available to seniors whose income is considered low. It is increased every 6 months, in March and September.

Centrelink are increasing some benefits payments from 20th March 2023, by about 3.7%.
Only those with a payment date from the 3rd April 2023, will receive the full increase, covering their 14 day payment period.

A new $4,000 income credit for working age pensioners has been announced, to come into effect in December 2022.
But, it is temporary until June 2023.
