Is the Australian Work and Holiday visa available for India?.
Some migration agents in India are advertising that Indians are now eligible for a Work and Holiday visa to Australia.
Apparently they have already begun submitting applications for some of their paying clients .
However….
The Immigration section of the Australian Department of Home Affairs says that any applications for a subclass 462 Work and Holiday visa from India will not be granted, as India is currently not among the eligible countries for this visa.
Immigration suggest waiting to see if India is approved before submitting an application.
Application fees for rejected applications are not normal practice.
India is one of thirteen countries, currently negotiating with Australia, to be included in the Work and Holiday visa program.
