Both Biometrics and Medical checks are required for some Australian visas.

• A scan all 10 of your fingertips with a digital finger scanner.

What are Medicals for a Visa?.

Many visa applications require a medical, especially Permanent visa applications. These are to check your general health, and see if you might be a financial liability on the Australian Medical system.
