- There were 127,331 Citizenship by conferral applications (clients) received in 2011–12.
- There were 168,822 Citizenship by conferral applications (clients) received in 2012–13.
- There were 185,838 Citizenship by conferral applications (clients) received in 2013–14.
- There were 191,750 Citizenship by conferral applications (clients) received in 2014–15.
- There were 196,392 Citizenship by conferral applications (clients) received in 2015–16.
- There were 201,250 Citizenship by conferral applications (clients) received in 2016–17.
Since 2013, the department has had between 198 to 210 staff allocated to the citizenship by conferral caseload.
