Australia provides a State funded education system available to all children that are Citizens or Permanent Residents of Australia.
This education is basically a Free Education, but there are some costs that parents need to be aware of, that are not covered by the State.
Examples of these include:
- Text books and Stationery that the student keeps.
- School Uniform
- Camp and Excursion costs
Schools also make requests for Voluntary Donations, which most people do pay, but they are NOT compulsory.
