Dual Citizenship Political Crisis: Court Delays Hearing to October 2017

Court Hearing on the Dual Citizenship Political Crisis Deferred to October 2017.

The 24th August hearing at Brisbane court in the Dual Citizenship cases for various Australian Politicians has been deferred to be heard in Canberra on October 10th to 12th, 2017.

The Politicians immediately affected are:

Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce
former Nationals Minister Matt Canavan
One Nation’s Malcolm Roberts
former Greens senators Larissa Waters
former Greens senators Scott Ludlam

Others not listed at the Brisbane Court due to timings are:

Deputy Nationals leader Fiona Nash
South Australian senator Nick Xenophon

A few Labor MPs have not yet proved their citizenship details, and may also have to appear, unless of course they provide the proof of their Citizenship renunciations.
