Is a Medical needed for subclass 600 Visitor Visa?
Sometimes, but not always is the best answer, and it is normally easy to find out.
How do I know if I need to do a Medical?
When you have completed your visa application online, you can go to the main page and see a section at the bottom left.
I have highlighted the link shown in the red box “Health Assessment” in the screenshot below.
Click on HEALTH ASSESSMENT and see what it says.
Just a minute or so after payment, I went to this section and read the instructions. No Health Assessment was required.
Some people say to wait until asked to do the Medical / Health Assessment. I personally would rather not wait, it can be best to do it as soon as possible, to avoid delays.
