The Australian Labor Party want to send illegal migrants to an offshore processing centre in a country that has NOT signed the United Nations refugee convention agreement. The Liberal party say this is wrong, and they should be sent to a country that has signed the agreement. The Liberal party are voting against this policy.

The Liberal Party were sending illegal migrants to an offshore processing centre in a country that had NOT signed the United Nations refugee convention agreement. The Australian Labor Party say this is wrong, and they should only be sent to a country that has signed the agreement. The Australian Labor Party, during the 2007 election campaigned to end this if they were elected.
