Australian Partner Visa Refusals in 2016/17.
A Freedom of Information report from Australian Immigration, has shown the numbers of Partner Visa Refusals, distributed between applications lodged with and without a Migration agent, and finalised in 2016/17.
The figures below, taken from that report, show:

- 11.55% of offshore partner visa applications lodged WITH a Migration agent were refused.
- 7.09% of offshore partner visa applications lodged WITHOUT a Migration agent were refused.

- 13.05% of onshore partner visa applications lodged WITH a Migration agent were refused.
- 6.72% of onshore partner visa applications lodged WITHOUT a Migration agent were refused.
Subclass 309/100 Partner Visa Refusals in 2016/17.
Total (and percentage) number of finalised applications that were lodged with the appointment of a registered migration agent:

- 13,720 Finalised
- 1,584 of those were Refused (11.55%)
Total (and percentage) number of finalised applications lodged without the appointment of a registered migration agent:

- 34,788 Finalised
- 2,466 of those were Refused (7.09%)
Subclass 820/801 Partner Visa Refusals in 2016/17.
Total (and percentage) number of finalised applications that were lodged with the appointment of a registered migration agent:

- 21,686 Finalised
- 2,830 of those were Refused (13.05%)
Total (and percentage) number of finalised applications lodged without the appointment of a registered migration agent:

- 32,676 Finalised
- 2,195 of those were Refused (6.72%)
