How much does Ginger cost in Australia in 2021?
Ginger seems to be a very profitable item for most supermarkets these days.
My wife recently bought some at a very cheap price from a local fruit and veg shop. I now assume they bought it from a local grower, after reading a recent news report.
The Australian farmer sells it for between $7 and $11 per kg.
The Supermarkets generally sell it for between $40 and $45 per kg.
