Pursuit and armed robbery charge, Gold Coast, Queensland. 18 May 2015.

A Biggera Waters man has been charged with several offences following a series of incidents on the Gold Coast over the weekend.

It will be alleged shortly before 9pm last night police attempted to intercept a vehicle in Surfers Paradise when it failed to stop.

The four-wheel-drive was later located on Barrington Road in Pacific Pines following a pursuit.

During the pursuit, it will be alleged the vehicle collided with police vehicles and a civilian vehicle.

A passenger in the civilian vehicle, a 39-year-old woman, sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

It will further be alleged that during the pursuit the vehicle drove at two officers and service firearms were discharged at the vehicle.

The two male officers were treated at the Gold Coast University Hospital for minor injuries.

The Ethical Standards Command will investigate all aspects of the pursuit and discharge of firearms.

Detectives are appealing for public assistance to help located 28-year-old Sarah Jane Boyd (pictured here) who may be able to assist with the investigation.

The 19-year-old Biggera Waters man has been charged with a variety offences including one count each of armed robbery, attempted robbery with violence, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, failing to stop a vehicle and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

The robbery charges relate to the alleged robbery of a taxi driver at Helensvale and the attempted robbery of a service station at Pacific Pines yesterday.

He was due to appear in Southport Magistrates Court today.

Investigations are continuing.
