The overall drop in overseas arrivals into Australia for the month of November was a 98.28% drop in all arrivals.
In November 2019 there were 1,724,400 arrivals, but only 29,740 in November 2020.
Those coming with African Citizenship had the smallest reduction in percentage terms at 95.33%. Those arriving with a Middle East Citizenship also had a smaller reduction than the average, with only a 96.16% reduction.
Both of these had a better result than Australian citizens who had a 97.83% reduction in the number of arrivals.
- Africans had the smallest percentage reduction, dropping from 10,710 arrivals in November 2019 to 500 in November 2020, a 95.33% reduction.
- Middle East nationalities were next, dropping from 9,630 arrivals in November 2019 to 370 in November 2020, a 96.16% reduction.
Other Nationalities had higher than the average reduction.
- Europeans were next, dropping from 201,640 arrivals in November 2019 to 2,680 in November 2020, a 98.67% reduction.
- North Americans were next, dropping from 95,300 arrivals in November 2019 to 1,020 in November 2020, a 98.93% reduction.
- Asians were next, dropping from 471,500 arrivals in November 2019 to 5,040 in November 2020, a 98.93% reduction.
- Central Americans were next, dropping from 1,930 arrivals in November 2019 to 20 in November 2020, a 98.96% reduction.
- South Americans were next, dropping from 14,850 arrivals in November 2019 to 150 in November 2020, a 98.99% reduction.
