Repatriation Flight Waiting Times

How long is the wait for a Repatriation Flight?

Opposition foreign affairs spokeswoman Penny Wong said it was “appalling” to see how long the Morrison government had left Australians stranded around the world with the statement: “and to be left waiting for help from your government for 13 months is just cruel,”

The average wait time was actually 2.2 months, but Penny Wong used the 13 month wait time example, to make her point, even though it appears that this returnee had refused 20 previous flight offers, that didn’t suit him, before eventually returning home.
