Visitor Visa Arrivals.

Not everyone who gets a Visitor visa grant, during the COVID period, is actually able to travel, due to various circumstances, including flight restrictions.

In 2020/21, 167,576 subclass 600 visas were granted, but only 33,468 actual arrivals were recorded. About 80% (8 out of every 10) of those who received a visitor visa grant appear not to have been able to travel.

In 2019/20, 4,056,603 subclass 600 visas were granted, and 4,616,075 actual arrivals were recorded. More arrivals than visa holders, partly due to some people using multiple entry on a visitor visa.

In 2018/19, 5,686,318 subclass 600 visas were granted, and 6,509,956 actual arrivals were recorded. More arrivals than visa holders, partly due to some people using multiple entry on a visitor visa.
