Western Australian State nomination allocations.
At 1st February 2022, Western Australia met their quota of places for the 2021-22 State nomination program for subclass 190 and 491 visas.
Current applications will continue to be processed, and any applications which meet the requirements to be approved, will be placed on hold, with those applicants being contacted by email.
Changes to State nomination ranking system.
The ranking system used for the issuing of invitations to apply for State nomination was changed on 22 Oct 2021, and gave preference to applicants currently residing in Western Australia.

WA State Nomination Selection process.
On a monthly basis a set number of expressions of interest (‘EOIs’) are selected from SkillSelect to receive an invitation to apply for State nomination.
If you are invited, WA Migration Services will contact you via email with a link to the State nomination application form.

Numbers of invitations issued, for the latest month, for the Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190) and Skilled Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 491) in Western Australia.
WA State Nomination Occupation Lists.
Applicants who have a nominated occupation identified on the Western Australian skilled migration occupation list (WASMOL) or Graduate occupation list (GOL) may be eligible for Western Australian State nomination using one of the following visa subclasses:

- Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190)
- Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 491).
