According to the ABS, the June 2025 unemployment rate (Trend) for Australia increased to 4.2% from 4.1%.

This was an increase of 8,400 from 631,100 in May 2025, to 639,500 in June 2025.

The number employed increased from 14,614,900 in May 2025, to 14,637,800 in June 2025.
