There were 127,331 Citizenship by conferral applications (clients) received in 2011–12.
There were 168,822 Citizenship by conferral applications (clients) received in 2012–13.
There were 185,838 Citizenship by conferral applications (clients) received in 2013–14.
There were 191,750 Citizenship by conferral applications (clients) received in 2014–15.
There were 196,392 Citizenship by conferral applications (clients) received in 2015–16.
There were 201,250 Citizenship by conferral applications (clients) received in 2016–17.

Since 2013, the department has had between 198 to 210 staff allocated to the citizenship by conferral caseload.
