Median Property Value Increases 12 Months to May 2018

Australian Property Values May 2018.

Most of the Australian Cities have seen further increases in the Median Property Values during the 12 months ended 31st May 2018

The three exceptions were Perth, Sydney and Darwin, each of which showed a decrease during that period.
Regional Australia has shown an increase over the year, and is only beaten by Hobart and Canberra.

Annual Change in Australian Property Values for the year ended 31st May 2018.

  • Hobart has seen an increase of 12.7% and now has a Median Dwelling Value of $430,429 at May 2018
  • Canberra has seen an increase of 2.3% and now has a Median Dwelling Value of $592,954 at May 2018
  • Regional Australia has seen an increase of 2.2% and now has a Median Dwelling Value of $365,792 at May 2018
  • Melbourne has seen an increase of 2.2% and now has a Median Dwelling Value of $717,020 at May 2018
  • Brisbane has seen an increase of 0.9% and now has a Median Dwelling Value of $494,038 at May 2018
  • Adelaide has seen an increase of 0.6% and now has a Median Dwelling Value of $437,234 at May 2018
  • Perth has seen a decrease of -1.8% and now has a Median Dwelling Value of $463,319 at May 2018
  • Sydney has seen a decrease of -4.2% and now has a Median Dwelling Value of $871,454 at May 2018
  • Darwin has seen a decrease of -7.9% and now has a Median Dwelling Value of $434,134 at May 2018
