People in Australia must stay at least 1.5 metres away from others.
That is the rule, stay at least 1.5 metres away from others, but many people are ignoring it.
In Queensland yesterday, Saturday 2nd May 2020, the travel rules were relaxed and many people went shopping.
I went to the nearest Shopping Centre for the first time since this began.
I waited outside a clothes shop while my wife went it. I was standing still and not in anyone’s way. During just 5 minutes, two people banged into me. No attempt to stay 1.5 metres away from anyone.
I stood watching people. Maybe 25% appeared to attempt to avoid people, but the rest seemed to carry on as normal.
One of those that banged into me was a woman carrying a baby. The babys bare legs brushed along my bare arm. Skin to skin contact. But the mother didn’t even seem to notice or care.
