State Election Dates in Queensland

The following is a list of dates for each of the State Elections held in Queensland between 1947 and 2021.

Not all of the page links have been created yet, but will be worked on at some stage, to provide details of the Queensland election results.

The main political parties in Queensland State Politics are:
ALP = Australian Labor Party
LNP = Liberal National Party

During the years 1947 to 2020 the ALP have won 15 Queensland State Elections, with the Liberal Coalition parties winning 12 times.

From 3 May 1947 to 31 October 2020, the ALP have held power in Queensland for 40.06 years, while the Liberal coalitions have held power for 33.48 years.
