The NSW Premier, Gladys Berejiklian, has stated that anyone coming to New South Wales from Victoria will be put into mandatory hotel quarantine for 14 days, at their own expense.

This is to come into effect from 12.01am on Friday 7th August 2020.

This followed a statement from the NSW Health Minister, Brad Hazzard, who said the State Government was “extremely concerned” about the spread of coronavirus in Victoria.
