What is a Resident Return Visa

What is a Resident Return Visa (RRV)?.

A Resident Return Visa (RRV) is a travel facility visa for Permanent Residents of Australia, and allows the holder to travel in and out of Australia as many times as they want until the travel validity expires.

A Permanent Resident visa only allows you to reside legally in Australia indefinitely. It does not by itself allow you to re-enter Australia, for that you need the extra RRV. However, the initial PR grant includes a 5 year RRV.
