The Northern Territory Chief Minister, Michael Gunner, has indicated that their strict border controls will likely be in place for at least the next 18 months.
If correct, that could be until the early months of 2022.

The NSW Premier, Gladys Berejiklian, has stated that anyone coming to New South Wales from Victoria will be put into mandatory hotel quarantine for 14 days, at their own expense.
This is to come into effect from 12.01am on Friday 7th August 2020.
